The Essence beta is one product, not a tier. Every seat carries the full capability of the platform — the four input modes of CHECK, the four observation layers of RADAR, the analytical depth of Deep Dive, and the Causality engine for timeline readings.

01 · Check
Verification
You enter a single claim. Essence tests it against an average of 18 independent sources, rates each one for credibility, and returns a structured verdict — confirmed, probable, contested, or false. The reasoning is visible. The sources are cited. You see what supports the claim, what contradicts it, and where the evidence runs out. Output type · per query
02 · Check
Situation
You enter a topic, a country, a developing situation. Essence returns a situational picture — who the actors are, what the dynamics look like, where the escalation indicators sit, what is moving and what is stable. Broader than a fact-check, narrower than a news roundup. Output type · per query
03 · Check
Briefing
You enter a topic on which you need to brief yourself or someone else. Essence produces a structured document in the style of a doctrinal intelligence summary — findings, assessments, recommendations, source matrix, what is known and what remains open. Designed to be read once and remembered, or printed and used in a meeting. Output type · per query
04 · Check
Disinfo
You enter a narrative, a claim, or a piece of content you suspect is shaped. Essence analyses how it is constructed — repetition patterns, coordinated dissemination, missing context, voices excluded. The output names what manipulation techniques are present and where the narrative diverges from the underlying evidence. Output type · per query
05 · Radar
Continuous observation
Essence continuously observes roughly 130 countries across four layers — a global event map, a country-level tension index, a real-time event stream, and a situation room of currently active fronts. You move between the layers based on what you need to see. The picture is being maintained whether you are logged in or not. Always running · all four layers
06 · Deep dive
Analytical depth
From any RADAR event or CHECK output, one click opens the full analytical breakdown — triangulated scenarios, source matrix with tier classification, explicit information gaps, and the voices missing from the coverage. This is the equivalent of an analyst's eight-hour deep-dive on a specific situation, available immediately. One click from any output
07 · Causality
Past · Present · Future
From any active situation, one click opens a timeline reading. Essence reconstructs the causal chain that produced the current state, places where the situation stands now, and projects the plausible trajectories with their conditions. Past, present, and future on one structured view. One click from any situation
08 · Feed
Personal archive
Every check you run, every situation you save, every note you add — kept and searchable in your personal feed. You can return to any output, share it, or use it as the starting point for the next analysis. Your reading history becomes a working archive. Saved across sessions

Institutional access

For teams, agencies, or institutional use.

The beta cohort is structured for individual readers. Institutional engagements — multi-seat deployments, dedicated coverage, custom integrations — are handled directly. Pricing and scope are agreed case by case.

Before you take a seat.

Is there a free trial?
No. The beta is a paid subscription from the first day. We do not offer a free tier and we do not run trial periods. The model assumes that the value of structured intelligence is visible from the first output — and that readers who would rather try it for free are not the readers we are building for.
What happens when I cancel?
You can cancel from your account at any time. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no auto-renewal trap and no minimum commitment beyond the active month.
What happens to my data when I leave?
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. You can request data export or deletion at any time by writing to office@get-essence.com. Anonymised usage data may be retained for system improvement and quality assurance.
What happens after the beta closes?
When the 500 seats are filled, the cohort closes. New subscribers after the cohort closes will be onboarded at standard pricing, communicated in advance.
What does the CHECK limit actually mean?
A CHECK is a single input you submit — a claim, a question, or a situation — for which you receive one of the four output types (Verification, Situation, Briefing, Disinfo). Three hundred per month is roughly ten per day, which exceeds the use pattern of even active researchers. Browsing RADAR, reading Deep Dives, and managing your Feed do not count against the limit.
Is this for me?
Essence is built for readers who make decisions, form judgments, or hold responsibility based on what they read. If you find yourself wanting more than the article — sources you can verify, gaps you can see, confidence you can measure — Essence is built for you. If you mostly want a faster news feed, you may not need it.
How reliable are the outputs?
Every output cites its sources, rates their credibility, and names what is missing. Essence is a tool for structured reading — it does not replace professional judgment. The platform improves continuously: source coverage expands, methodology is refined, edge cases are addressed as they emerge. If you encounter an output that appears incorrect, we welcome reports at office@get-essence.com.
Is the platform always available?
Essence is in active development. During the beta phase, the platform is continuously improved — which means occasional maintenance windows, temporary feature changes, and periods of reduced availability. We do not guarantee uptime. When planned maintenance affects availability, subscribers are notified in advance. Unplanned interruptions are resolved as quickly as possible.
What about institutional or team use?
Institutional engagements are handled separately. For team deployments, agency use, or specialised coverage, write to office@get-essence.com and we will arrange terms.
